About Me
Camila Herrera is a Cuban-American first-generation artist born and raised in Hialeah, Florida. Growing up, Camila always had a strong passion for the arts and became involved in every performance opportunity she could. However, as she grew older, she realized how inaccessible the arts were in her area, limiting opportunities for students like her. Nonetheless, she never gave up and continued to search for opportunities. That is when she decided to take matters into her own hands by transferring during her senior year of high school to Miami Arts Charter's musical theater program (2023).
Today, Camila now lives in New York City pursuing her career at New York University. She expects to graduate in Spring 2027 with a BFA in Drama from Tisch’s New Studio on Broadway and a minor in Educational Theatre.
When she’s not singing, you can find Camila perfecting her cooking skills to share with her friends and family. She also enjoys podcasts, thrifting, makeup, and teaching theatre to teens.
